The holiday season is nearly here! The Ship Essential team is gearing up for a busy season, and feeling optimistic about a massive fourth quarter! We wanted to give you a little insight into how we will be operating during the holidays to help you have a successful Q4. Feel free to reference our 2022 Holiday calendar here.
Key Dates
October 2022 - January 2023is peak season for shipping carriers such as USPS & UPS.
Monday, November 14-Friday, December 30: We anticipate a high volume of rush orders and expedited service requests during this time. While we will do our best to honor all requests, we may quickly reach our capacity for rushes on the busiest days. If we are able to accommodate your request, rush orders will be charged at $25/order and rushed receiving will be charged at $50/hour. All requests should be sent to support@shipessential.com.
Thursday, November 24(Thanksgiving Day): Ship Essential and our facility are closed
Friday, December 23: Ship Essential is open & operating. However, responses may be delayed
Monday, December 26(Christmas Day Observed): Our facility is closed, Ship Essential is operating on an emergency-only schedule, and responses may be delayed
Monday, January 2(New Year's Day Observed): our facility is closed, Ship Essential is operating on an emergency-only schedule, and responses may be delayed
Receiving
Black Friday: If you are sending inventory to us, we recommend making sure it arrives to us before November 18th. Depending on volume, receiving times after November 18thmay be longer.
December Holidays: We anticipate a high volume of shipments to our facility and we will staff our receiving team so that we can honor our SLA’s regarding receiving time (please refer to our receiving timelines). We recommend shipping inventory to the facility before December 9th to ensure that it is processed and ready to sell in time for the holidays. If you are sending inventory after December 9, please notify us ASAP with the full details of your incoming inventory shipment(s). If you would like to expedite the receiving process, rushed receiving will be charged at $50/hour.
