How It Works
Ship Essential will work with you to configure your E-Commerce store to enable Local Delivery. Reach out to support@shipessential.com for more info.
At checkout, customers in the Delivery Coverage Area will have the option to select Same Day.
These orders will be prioritized by the Ship Essential team and handed off to a local delivery partner.
As soon as the package is picked up from Ship Essential, a delivery notification is sent to the customer. The message informs the customer of the delivery window and gives them the option to reschedule their delivery for another day.
When the package is delivered, the customer receives a confirmation message that their order has been delivered!
Same-Day Delivery Requirements
Orders placed with the “Same-Day” Delivery option will be delivered Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed before noon will be delivered by 10pm. Orders placed after noon will be delivered the following business day before 10pm. We are not able to accommodate specific delivery time requests.

When will my Local Delivery order arrive?
Local Delivery is available Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. Orders placed before noon will be delivered by 10pm. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the following business day before 10pm. We are not able to accommodate specific delivery time requests.
What happens if there is a failed delivery attempt?
In the event of a failed delivery the customer is notified and redelivery is attempted on the following business day or another day of the customer’s choosing. After 2 delivery attempts the package will be returned to the Ship Essential.
Will my order get there Same-Day if ordered on the weekend?
No, orders are only delivered during business hours which can be found above.
Will my order get there Same-Day if placed on a holiday?
No, orders are only delivered during business hours which can be found above.
Is there a minimum for Same-Day Delivery?
No, there is no minimum spend required to place a Same-Day Delivery order.
How will I know the driver is on the way?
A delivery notification is sent to the customer as soon as the package is picked up from Ship Essential. The message provides the customer with the tracking link.
Why was my Same-Day Delivery order delivered the next day?
If your order is placed after the local cutoff time, it will be delivered the next available business day.
What if I need to cancel the order?
Customers can cancel their delivery by contacting support@flot.delivery.
What if I need to update the delivery address?
Customers can contact support@flot.delivery to see if their address can be updated.
Are there any weight package weight or dimension restrictions?
Yes, packages must be less than 10 lbs and have a max dimension of 24 inches.
What happens if my package is lost?
Please contact support@flot.delivery with information on the issue. Each package is protected with up to $100 in coverage. Additional coverage is available for 1.2% of declared value.
